Taking on the NORRA Mexican 1000.
Some of the best off road racing that you’ll ever witness is on the Baja California Peninsula in Mexico. While the SCORE Baja 1000 takes the competitive cake, the NORRA Mexican 1000 is all about having a good time and putting those cheap rims through their paces.
The GoWesty Camper Products Volkswagen Vanagon is just one example of the brilliant old cars and beats that will be competing in the NORRA Mexican 1000 with their cheap wheels.
This event is all about having a good time. The GoWest Camper Products Volkswagen Vanagon had previously competed in the 24 Hours of LeMons with a two-wheel drive setup. Lots of flamboyant body work and styling was also on display with their cheap rims at the 24-hour endurance event that won them a prize.
For the NORRA Mexican 1000 event, the team has transformed the Volkswagen Vanagon into a four wheel drive monster with a new Syncro system. This stripped out beast will be pounding the sand dunes, dirt, and gravel with its cheap rims and a roaring air-cooled motor with the hopes of finishing the race with smiles all around.
