There’s such an incredible difference between today’s automobiles and those from even 10 years ago. Technology has advanced so rapidly throughout the years that we’re even talking about self-driving cars now. This old, rusty Chevrolet Caprice with DUB Wheels is old school done right and still has that swaggy character that isn’t seen with cars today.
This second-gen Chevrolet Caprice is classic ‘70s-era American motoring in every shape and form. It’s a literal boat on the road with its long, massive size, has all sorts of chrome trim pieces, and packs a fat V-8 engine under the hood that drives the rear DUB Wheels. It might have a bit of rust, but that’s just part of its character. The big 400 cu. In. V-8 hiding under the hood might not pack 240 horsepower like it did from the factory, but it sounds pretty good if you ask us, still.
Beneath the rusted body and chipped chrome on this Chevrolet Caprice, there’s a beefed up suspension. Here, room was made for the new DUB Wheels by installing an air suspension and modifying the wheel wells to accommodate the large rims, while tucking them inside the body work.
The real star of the show on this rust bucket is the new set of DUB Baller – S116 rims. These massive, five-spoke wheels have a sweet Chrome finish that contrasts the deteriorating body of the American sedan and grabs attention. Each one of the DUB Wheels also measures an incredible 26 inches in diameter, making them quite the head-turner in their own right.
