The Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, and Dodge Challenger have all grown into the go-to American muscle cars of today. The two former aren’t just made to go fast in a straight line, either; they’re built to take on corners with the best. This customized Purple Ford Mustang EcoBoost owned by @laurentizzlebee also brings some high-tech turbo power and some new style with its fresh set of Niche Wheels.
Instead of the big and mighty 5.0-liter naturally-aspirated V-8 hiding under the hood, this Ford Mustang has a new 2.3-liter turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine. When you consider that the engine spits out 310 horsepower at 5,500 RPM and 320 lb-ft. of torque at 3,000 RPM for the rear Niche Wheels right from the factory, it doesn’t seem too shabby. Throw in the fact that it has more tuning potential than its V-6 and V-8 counterparts (relatively speaking), and you have quite a viable and affordable sports car on your hands.
What makes things even better is that this bad boy is probably putting down well north of that figure. To make it look the part, this Purple pony car was outfitted with some striking new aero upgrades. There’s a commanding front splitter up front to cut down on lift while new side skirts redirect air away from the rear Niche Wheels. At the rear, a large new spoiler sits atop the trunk to generate downforce at high speeds and improve stability.
To go along with the eye-catching aesthetics and upgrades, this Ford Mustang was outfitted with a new set of Niche Invert – M162 rims. These five split-spoke rims have a unique directional design with a concave face, making them perfect for performance oriented sports cars. Here, the new Niche Wheels were installed in a large 20 x 10.5 fitment. Each one of the Niche Invert – M162 rims also wears a Silver and Machined finish that displays plenty of contrast to the vibrant Purple paint.
