Lifted and ready for fun.
When thinking of powerful off-road machines, one of the last brand’s you’d expect to see getting dirty is MINI. However, the British car brand has been ripping through the WRC since 2011 with a factory-backed team with a Countryman and even won the Dakar Rally four years in a row. This MINI Cooper Countryman has that DNA on display and proudly wears a set of Fuel Wheels.
The factory MINI Cooper Countryman packs a pretty stout 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four cylinder engine that makes 189 horsepower at 5,000 RPM and 207 lb-ft. of torque at just 1,250 RPM. That’s mated to a six-speed manual transmission and sent to all four wheels in ‘ALL4’ guise as seen here.
This MINI Cooper Countryman isn’t your average city-dwelling hot hatches either. This bad boy comes with a new suspension lift kit and extended fenders that fit the new Fuel Wheels and tires perfectly. An extensive amount of work was performed on the suspension in order to give it enough ground clearance for the new wheel and tire combo, and be able to handle off-road duties.
This MINI Cooper Clubman has been transformed with the aforementioned accessories and a new set of Fuel Zephyr Beadlock –D100 rims. These new Fuel Wheels measure may not seem massive with their 17 x 9.0 fitment, but on this compact Countryman, they look massive. The Fuel Zephyr Beadlock – D100 rims sport a Candy Red finish and wear some meaty Mickey Thompson tires for grip wherever it decides to go.
This MINI Cooper Countryman might not be a traditional truck or SUV, but it has all the testosterone to go against one head-to-head with its new Fuel Zephyr Beadlock – D100 wheels.
