A sedan with a freakin’ HEMI.
The world of full-size sedans can oftentimes be boring, bland, and uninspiring. Many automakers are striving for efficiency, features, and comfort, and that leaves things that car enthusiasts crave such as performance, in the dust. What we’re left with is an appliance. Not with the Dodge Charger, and not when said Charger is fitted with a new set of DUB Wheels. That’s some fun American muscle in a four-door sedan wrapper right there, folks.
The Dodge Charger is sort of the mischievous kid in the group of well-behaved children that go about their business in the affordable full-size sedan marketplace. Armed with the factory 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 in R/T trim and new DUB Wheels, it’s the bad boy in the class.
The four door sedan packs a powerful 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine under the hood that is more American than anything being put into other cars in the class. It’s meaner, more aggressive lines and styling reflect its eagerness to light up the rear tires and speed away with the roaring V-8. In total, 370 horsepower is sent to each of the rear DUB Wheels causing quite a bit of smoke and havoc in its path.
On this white Dodge Charger, a new set of DUB Wheels was the perfect choice to visually add a touch of muscle and power. The seven-spoke Directa – S133 wheels feature a unique twist design that emphasizes motion and speed, even while at rest. A special black-finished face coupled with a milled outline on the spokes and outer rim provides the perfect contrast for the white muscle car.
For this application on the Dodge Charger, the DUB Directa – S133 wheels were installed in a large 24 x 10 setup and equipped with 275/25/24 Nitto performance tires that grab at the asphalt and help to reign in all 370 ponies.
The Dodge Charger R/T might not be the most practical or best sedan in the class, but when it comes to looks, power, and performance with its new wheels, it’s definitely the most fun.
