When one thinks of cars geared towards delivering a sublime driving experience, the BMW M3 will almost always be one of the vehicles that pops up. There’s a good reason for that as it has been fine-tuned through the decades and raced all over the world to create a vehicle that other automakers aspire to duplicate. In their own package, they’re spectacular cars, but they get even better with some aftermarket support as seen with this 2008 E92 BMW M3. Nick/MNC Performance added on new Niche Wheels, a new suspension, and a few other goodies to make it perform and look better.
The team at Nick/MNC Performance from Long Island, NY gave the German coupe some added swagger to take to the track and the streets with the new package of upgrades.
To start things off, the set of factory rims was replaced with a new set of Niche Wheels. Here, the new shoes were installed in a wide 20 x 8.5 front and 20 x 10.5 rear setup with a Silver and Machined finish that perfectly complements the factory Space Grey paint on the M3’s body while grabbing attention. The 12-spoke design of the Surge rims from Niche wheels also gives the BMW M3 the impression of motion and speed, even while sitting still.
But the Long Island team wasn’t finished with the BMW’s stance. To create the perfect fitment, they added on a set of Racing Dynamics springs that not only lowers the overall ride height but improves the car’s handling dynamics to ensure that corners are carved up with ease.
The high-revving, naturally-aspirated V-8 engine sending 414 horsepower at 8,300 RPM and 295 lb-ft. of torque at 3,900 RPM to the rear Niche Wheels doesn’t exactly make itself inconspicuous with its sound and bulging hood. To complement the performance hiding behind it, the team installed a new Vorsteiner front bumper that instantly adds confidence and better aerodynamic properties up front.
Armed with a new stance and its German muscle, this E92 BMW M3 is ready to hit the streets with swagger.
