For the past years in a row, the Ram Longhorn has won the Luxury Pickup Truck of Texas award as voted on by the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA). That’s an impressive run, and Ram is looking to build on that again with the new 2018 Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo Edition. The new pickup truck has a luxurious interior and a Southwestern design flair with hard working engines and some tough truck rims.

The new 2018 Ram Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo Edition takes luxury up a notch compared to the standard Longhorn trim vehicles. Here, there’s a new suede headliner and contrasting trim blending colors such as Black and Cattle Tan to create an exclusive and comfortable atmosphere.
The high-end feel doesn’t end there and continues right on down to the truck rims. The new 2018 Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo Edition can be had in RV match walnut Brown, Brilliant Black Crystal, Bright White, Pearl White, Delmonico Red, or Granite Crystal Metallic (monotone). A special ‘LONGHORN’ badge spans the rear tailgate in contrasting color. The Ram 2500/3500 models get 20-inch aluminum truck rims with painted pockets while the 3500 dual-rear wheel models get 17-inch polished aluminum wheels. Ram’s exclusive rear air suspension also comes as standard.
Customers can opt for a variety of upgrades such as a 5th wheel/gooseneck setup with in-bed camera, Mopar bed step, and Ram skid plate protection.
Customers can choose from a HEMI V-8 as standard or an optional 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel inline-six to drive the rear truck rims. The new 2018 Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo Edition is available in a Crew Cab and Mega Cab in both 4×2 and 4×4 layouts. Prices start at $60.790 for the 2500 model variant and $71,260 for the 3500 model. The new 2018 Ram 2500/3500 Heavy Duty Longhorn Ram Rodeo Edition models will be available in the third-quarter of 2018.
