A look at what the future may hold for the small Jeep.

Every year, the automotive world stops and assembles in Detroit, Michigan – the Motor City. The newest vehicles, latest technology, and automotive concepts are all unveiled to crowds of media and spectators as automakers look to make the biggest impact at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). This year, Chrysler and MOPAR are looking to grab attention with three new models, one of which is a special all-terrain Jeep Renegade with all sorts of MOPAR, Jeep Performance, and prototype parts such as off road wheels, new graphics, and body work.

“The company exhibit at the North American International Auto Show will highlight vehicles from all FCA brands, including three modified rides that illustrate how MOPAR can assist customers in bringing to life their own personal vision of an FCA vehicle,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO of MOPAR. “Customers can pull from our portfolio of MOPAR products to augment the versatility and capability of the all-new Jeep Renegade, as shown with two MOPAR-equipped Renegade vehicles, or to beef up the muscle of the Dodge Challenger while adding a vintage feel, as demonstrated by the Dodge Challenge T/A Concept.”

The new Jeep Renegade wears a striking Commando Green paint with special “X” graphics similar to the styling of the standard taillights on the 2015 model, with a classic Jerry-can design from the first-generation military models. To pay homage to the vehicle’s home city, a special map of Detroit MOPAR Topographical Hood decal sits front and center for all those to see. Contrast is provided by the new satin black off road wheels along each side.

New accessories and trim pieces adorn the exterior of the Jeep Renegade and add to the vehicles all-terrain prowess alongside the off road wheels. A concept skid plate, prototype rock rails, rear valence with laser-cut Jeep name and red edges, and a production MOPAR skid plate kit add some toughness to the SUV. Neutral grey Jeep badging complements the neutral grey satin aforementioned parts while the trail-ready, five spoke wheels in stain black with single spoke in Colorado red stand out.

Inside, the Jeep Renegade sports premium features such as Katzkin leather seats, and satin black steering wheel, shifter, and door lever. Matching Commando Green adorns HVAC bezels, speaker grilles, and portions of the center console while badging sports a neutral grey finish.

The new Jeep Renegade with MOPAR, Jeep Performance Parts, and prototype parts will be on display with its new color scheme, off road wheels, and special upgrades at the 2015 NAIAS from January 12th-25th.
