A new look.
Cadillac has been racking up the awards and notoriety since the newest generation model was unveiled and for good reason. It’s backed up by a lot of segment-leading stats that are undoubtedly impressive. To celebrate, GM has unveiled a new Sport Edition with new styling and custom wheels.
“Two decades after its introduction, the Escalade remains the segment’s benchmark and sales leader,” said Steve Carlisle, Cadillac president. “The Sport Edition extends that momentum in response to customer and dealer demand for a dark and aggressive look.”
The new Cadillac Escalade Sport Edition is the first of its kind on the new generation model and will be available on the Luxury, Platinum Luxury, and Platinum models for buyers.
The new Sport Edition model will feature an array of Gloss Black trim pieces such as the front grille, window mouldings, body side mouldings, and more while the sparkling headlights and LED daytime running lights shine ahead. New 22-inch custom wheels finished in Midnight Silver complement the new color scheme and have an XXL size.
Powering the Cadillac Escalade Sport Edition models will be the same 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V-8 engine currently used in the lineup. A total of 420 horsepower will be sent to either the rear or all four custom wheels for a 0-60 mph acceleration time of less than 6.0 seconds.
The new Cadillac Escalade Sport Edition model with its Gloss Black styling and custom wheels will be available for an additional $2,700 on top of the starting MSRP of $84,790 for the vehicle.
