A fun mix of ZL1 and Z/28 parts to make things go faster.

The beginning of November is all about the 2013 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) at the big 15,300-sq. ft. Las Vegas Convention Center. Hundreds of companies and manufactures will be exhibiting their cars from around the world and showing off their latest and greatest products. Even automotive manufacturers will be there, showcasing some of their aftermarket and in-house performance and styling concepts that will hopefully make their way to showrooms around the nation. One such car is the new Chevrolet Garage Concept Camaro that features all sorts of performance and styling goodies from new Camaro wheels and suspension bits to upgrades from the high-performance Z/28 and ZL1 model variants.

The new Chevrolet Garage Concept Camaro borrows parts from two of the fastest sports cars in the General Motors arsenal. The Garage Concept is based on the SS version of the muscle car and features a whole list of styling and performance options from the Camaro wheels on up, although the V-8 engine remains untouched.

A number of Chevrolet Accessories will be featured throughout the sports car and be offered through the large General Motors dealership network. A new ground effects package that includes side skirts and front lip visually lowers the muscle car. Special RS headlights and taillights lend a meaner look to the Camaro while blacked-out mirrors and rear diffuser contrast the stunning paint color. A new Chevrolet Accessories rear spoiler and grille further add some spice to the exterior and are complemented by a new set of satin black 10-spoke Tack Pack Camaro wheels. The final touch is a new set of graphics worn throughout the body and “Chevrolet Performance” lettering on the windshield.

Many of the components shown on the Garage Concept vehicle at SEMA are from its ZL1 and Z/28 siblings. Hidden behind the 10-spoke Camaro wheels are a set of ZL1 brakes along with a new short-throw shifter. Many of the ZL1 upgrades are currently being evaluated for availability but are also on display. The Chevrolet Garage Concept Camaro will benefit from a ZL1 “shorty” exhaust headers and 2.75-inch piping, front ride/handling links, rear upper control arms, stabilizer bars, brake ducts, DSSV dampers, and Helical differential with internal cooling system.

All of the new products for the new Chevrolet Garage Concept Camaro will be on display at the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Everything from the new Camaro wheels to the graphics package should be available from dealerships across the nation in the near future.
