Opening up the OEM catalog.

The Easter Holiday is over and so is the Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, but we’re still enjoying all of the awesome SUVs and concepts that made their debut at this fantastic event. While most are non-production models, the Nacho Jeep is virtually an inspiration for owners that aspire to modify their Wrangler using Mopar’s Jeep Performance Parts from the custom wheels to the hardcore bodywork.

“When it comes to customization, no vehicle can match the Jeep Wrangler,” said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA. “This is why we worked very closely with the Jeep brand to develop an exclusive line of more than 200 parts and accessories to enhance – even more – Jeep Wrangler’s off-road capability to fit any customer’s lifestyle. Almost all Wrangler vehicles sold are fitted with at least one Mopar accessory, and you see this perfect combination between vehicle and accessories come to life every year at the Easter Jeep Safari.”

The new Nacho Jeep is a 2018 Jeep Wrangler that’s been outfitted with a wide array of currently-available Jeep Performance Parts. The changes are dramatic with the body wearing a vibrant Nacho Yellow paint. A new hood includes vents and accommodates a cold air intake for the turbo-four engine in order to produce more power to the custom wheels. A new Satin Black Mopar grille stares ahead above the steel Rubicon bumper with integrated Warn winch. New wider and thicker rock rails run towards the rear and have a gripper coating. New 2.0-inch round tube doors feature new grab handles as well for easier entry and exit. At the rear, there’s a new reinforced spare tire tailgate hinge that is more than able to handle the addition of the 37-inch tires and custom wheels.

The chassis also got a considerable boost for off-road fun in the new Nacho Jeep. A 2.0-inch lift kit is paired up with 2.5-inch aluminum body shocks and provide more than enough clearance for the new custom wheels. Here, the 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels are shod in XL 37-inch wheels and feature a concept-only Satin-carbon finish with high-gloss black beadlock trim rings and cadmium-plated bolts.

The exterior of the Nacho Jeep also benefits from an array of LED lighting for the nighttime adventures. A-pillar and brush guard-mounted LED lights from Magneti Marelli. Above, an Automotive Lighting LED header sits atop the windshield. The rear benefits from a new off-road scouting LED light with different color codes for varying speeds.

Inside, the Nacho Jeep has been outfitted with a special Black Katzkin leather upholstery on the seats with embroidered Jeep logo on the headrests and Light Tungsten contrast stitching. The same stitching has also been used on the seat bolsters.

Unlike the other concepts at the Easter Jeep Safari, pretty much every single upgrade shown on the Nacho Jeep is currently available to all owners of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler.
