The E46-generation BMW 3-Series was (and still is) regarded as one of the best driver’s cars made by the German automaker. The superb balance, good power figures, nimble handling, and driver-centered cabin make it a favorite for those that like to enjoy a spirited drive through the corners. With a set of BBS CK wheels, the BMW 330i ZHP also looks the part as the motorsport-inspired design adds a certain confidence and air to the Bavarian car.
The BMW 330i ZHP has that oh-so-special performance package with all sorts of goodies that make it go and look faster right from the factory. Everything from the suspension to the engine and body has been tweaked and driving instantly becomes more exciting as a result, especially with the new BBS CK wheels.
The new BBS CK wheels were installed and add a more aggressive and unique touch to the 330i ZHP. The new rims were installed in a wide 18 x 8.0 ET45 setup at the front and rear and equipped with a set of 245/40/18 Continental DWS tires to grab onto the asphalt. The new BBS CK wheels hide a set of BMW Performance rotors to ensure that stopping is easier with the added performance.
While handling is considered a hallmark of the E46-generation BMW 3-Series, that doesn’t mean it can’t be improved on. Behind those BBS wheels sit KW Variant 1 coilovers, a UUC StrutBarbarian, and Racing Dynamics rear strut bar. All of these components work together to reduce the center of gravity and stiffen things up so the 330i ZHP melts corners like butter.
The E46 BMW 330i ZHP may have come with a power bump compared to the standard morel from the factory, but that wasn’t enough. The inline-six cylinder engine was outfitted with an AFE Pro 5R intake and a Jim Conforti Shark Injector software module to squeeze out a few more ponies.
When equipped with a new set of BBS CK wheels, the BMW 330i ZHP is all about the thrill of the drive.
