From October 31st to November 3rd, Chevrolet will be showcasing a wide range of new and exciting vehicles, and upgrade programs at the 2017 SEMA show. To celebrate 100 years of building trucks, they’re putting the new Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Midnight and Dusk Edition models on display with special features, new truck wheels, and lots more!
“The Colorado ZR2 Midnight and Dusk Edition models offer customers even more personalization choices from the only company with three distinct trucks: midsize, full-size and full-size heavy-duty,” said Jim Campbell, U.S. vice president, Truck Strategy, Performance Vehicles and Motorsports. “Chevrolet offers more choices because the truck market is too diverse for a ‘one size fits most’ strategy.”
The new 2018 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Midnight Edition wears an all-black exterior paint with matching black Chevy bowtie logos on the front and rear. A black sport bar with off-road LED lights illuminates trails at night while ZR2 logos on the sail panels add that extra special touch. Below a new set of 17-inch, five-spoke truck wheels wearing a black finish and come with a spare.
The Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Dusk Edition comes with all the same goodies from the LED light bar, 17-inch truck wheels with spare, and accents, but can be ordered with other ZR2 exterior paint finishes.
Both Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 special edition models will come standard with all the off-road upgrades and hardware that sets the ZR2 model apart from the competition. Both models will also be available with the 3.6-liter V-6 and eight-speed automatic gearbox or the 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel engine with 368 lb-ft. of torque driving all four truck wheels.
The new 2018 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 Midnight and Dusk Edition models will go on sale in November and cost an additional $3,425. The new models will also be showcased at SEMA from October 31st to November 3rd alongside 20 other Chevrolet models.
