The 2014 SEMA Show in Las Vegas in underway and Chevrolet is looking to make a statement in the desert oasis as well as at the dealer with their new Camaro Commemorative Edition. The newest muscle car variant celebrates the sales success of the fifth-generation model with unique graphics, colors, custom wheels, interiors, and more.

Since it’s unveiling in April of 2009, more than 400,000 fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaros have been sold to customers, making it America’s best-selling performance car for four consecutive years. This year is proving to be no different as sales are up eight-percent and lead the rival Ford Mustang by 10,000 sales. That means that the Camaro will likely by the best-selling performance car for the fifth year in a row, and these Commemorative Editions with their custom wheels and graphics are ready to celebrate.

“The fifth-generation Camaro was a success from the moment it was introduced, in attracting both long-time Camaro fans and new buyers who have never owned a Chevrolet,” said Todd Christensen, Camaro Marketing Manager. “We wanted to create a special edition Camaro that celebrates that success as the fifth generation comes to a close as the end of the model year.”

The new 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Commemorative Special Edition that made its debut at the SEMA Show will be available as a 2LT and 2SS Coupe and Convertible, including those with the RS packages.

A number of features visually separate the new Camaro Commemorative Editions from the muscle car pack. New 20-inch custom wheels with their polished finish sit at the front and rear axles. A body-colored front splitter and rear ZL1 spoiler help to generate downforce and create a more aggressive appearance. New Commemorative Edition Fender badges ensure that it is not mistaken for a run-of-the-mill Camaro.

To go along with the new aerodynamics and custom wheels, there are five different color combinations that owners can choose from: Black with Cyber Gray stripe, Silver Ice Metallic with Cyber Gray stripe, Summit White with silver stripe, Ashen Gray Metallic with silver stripe and Red Hot with black stripe. The SS models gain a body-colored hood insert as well.

Commemorative Edition side sill plates and flat-bottomed leather-wrapped steering wheel finish off the transformation.

The new 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Commemorative Edition will be on sale at dealerships this spring and marks the final year of the fifth-generation model.
