The Blood Type Racing Edge ST brings its power and Custom Wheels to SEMA!

Blood Type Racing Edge ST

Style and performance for the street.

Ford, like many other American automakers, is bringing quite a bit of fun stuff to show off at the 2018 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. Here, brands show off the latest and greatest, and Ford teamed up with Blood Racing to create a very potent and powerful Edge ST with new custom wheels, interior design, and aggressive exterior.

Ford is planning on having over 50 vehicles at their Ford up Front exhibit and one of the more exciting SUV models will be the Edge ST upgraded by Blood Type Racing. Ford teamed up with the Chicago-based tuner to create a stealthy and powerful model that wasn’t afraid to burn some rubber on its custom wheels.

Under the hood, the twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter V-6 engine mated to eight-speed SelectShift automatic was turned up a few notches past its 325 horsepower at 4,750 RPM and 350 lb-ft. of torque at 2,750 RPM. This comes thanks to a new BTR custom dual intake, Mishimoto intercooler, MRT exhaust, and tuning that generates quite a bit more power for those custom wheels to handle.

Visually, the Blood Type Racing Ford Edge ST is more aggressive thanks to a new Ford Accessories rear bumper protector, Avery Dennison gloss light Blue vinyl wrap, Chicago Auto Pros graphic wrap, Aerotekk Design custom splitter lip, and Rally Armor mud flaps, A new Air lift suspension helps tuck the new custom wheels right beneath the fenders when needed. Here, new AMF F020 rims that measure 22 x 10.5 are used and wear 265/35-22 Toyo Proxes STIII tires for grip.

Inside, things are a bit more fun and entertaining thanks to Blood Type Racing. Here, a new SoCal Garage Works custom carbon fiber steering wheel faces the driver. Ford Accessories were also installed and include all-weather floor mats, cargo area protector and organizer, cooler bag, tablet cradle, and Kicker Bullfrog portable audio system.

Unfortunately, the new Blood Type Racing Ford Edge ST will not be available as a complete car, however, the accessories can be purchased by customers individually.
