Earlier this summer, we featured a write-up on a custom off-road spec Toyota Tundra riding on a stunning set of Fuel Rims. While the pictures and specs were interesting and eye-catching, it left us with a desire to see it in action. Well, now we’re getting exactly what we wanted.
There’s a lot to like about this Toyota Tundra. Right off the bat, it comes packed with a meaty 5.7-liter naturally-aspirated V-8 engine that cranks out 381 horsepower and 401 lb-ft. of torque for the rear Fuel Rims. That’s more than enough power to get through tough off-road obstacles and trails.
Elsewhere, this Toyota Tundra is sporting a new front bumper with integrated LED light packs, skid plates, and new LED lights on the fenders. At the rear, there’s a new bumper with a custom-painted tailgate with graphics that matches the new bumpers. Beneath lies an all-new suspension with a lift kit that’s designed to provide more clearance and vertical travel for the new Fuel Rims and massive tires.
The fitment is a spectacular one and stars a fresh set of custom Fuel Rims. The owner chose Fuel Zephyr wheels with their exotic spoke design and concave profile that’s made for off-road fun. Each one of the Fuel Zephyr wheels features a Candy Red finish with Black beadlock ring, and measures 17 x 9.0 at the front and rear. For maximum traction in any off-road situation, new 37 x 12.5 R17 Fuel Gripper M/T tires were also installed.
