The Toyota Tacoma is an under-the-radar off-roader that brings practicality, reliability, and performance to any kind of terrain. There’s a large aftermarket for the mid-size pickup truck and owners aren’t afraid to take advantage and modify them to the gills. This bad boy is ready for off-road duty for extended periods and is proud to show off its new Fuel Wheels.
The foundation for the Toyota Tacoma is pretty solid, even with all the modern technology that’s packed into vehicles today. The third-gen model boasts a stout 3.5-liter V-6 engine packing 278 horsepower and 265 lb-ft. of torque, which is more than enough to get the job done. There’s also a choice of manual or automatic gearboxes to send that power to the rear or all four Fuel Wheels as well. A special terrain-select mode is new along with meatier differentials, suspension bits, axles, and more.
But that wasn’t enough for this owner. They took their factory Tacoma and modified it with new front and rear bumpers with integrated LED lights. There’s also new fender protection, side steps between the Fuel Wheels, a roof storage system, winch, skid plates and underbody protection, and a new suspension lift kit that makes overcoming obstacles a breeze.
This rugged beast is also sporting a new set of Fuel Wheels. Here, the weapon of choice are new Fuel Shok – D666 rims. These 17 x 9.0 front and rear Shok – D666 rims are perfect for off-roading and feature a classic six-spoke design with step lip barrels. Each one of the Shok rims boasts a Bronze finish that complements the factory Red paint color perfectly.
This Toyota Tacoma is armed to the teeth and ready to go anywhere and do anything.
