You can hear America from Russia.
The old saying that there are parts of Alaska where you can see Russia is known by many thanks to politics. Dodge, has played off that idea in their new advertisement titled “Russia”. It stars the new Dodge Challenger GT churning all four of its car rims thanks to the new all-wheel drive system.
“The winter driving capability of the new Challenger GT had to be shown in a way that only Dodge can do,” said Olivier Francois, Chief Marketing Officer, FCA – Global. “Bringing together the power and performance of the world’s first all-wheel-drive muscle coupe, a daunting Alaskan landscape and an adrenaline-filled soundtrack is what makes this ad so special.”
The new Dodge Challenger GT is the first and only muscle car coupe to utilize all-wheel drive. A 305-horsepower V-6 engine powers all four car rims giving it more stability, control, and ability while driving – especially in the snow.
Before, driving the Dodge Challenger in the snow was something that only a few dared to do. Now, thanks to the new powertrain driving all four car rims, the muscle car is more competent in the snow and ice, something that it shows in the new “Russia” ad.
The commercial was actually shot on-location in Russia with a professional driver speeding through the harsh, wintery conditions. The Challenger GT had no problem putting the power down to all four car rims and having some fun, so that “there’s a place in Russia where you can definitely HEAR America”.
