All wheel drive fun.
When you own an exotic super car, you have to enjoy it and have some fun. One of the best ways is to shred rubber by spinning your custom wheels around on the pavement. That’s exactly what this Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera owner was doing at SCC500 Rolling50 1000 event in Lahr, Germany.
In stock form, there’s a lot to like about the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera. Lamborghini used quite a bit of carbon fiber to cut the overall weight down to 2,954 lbs., making it the lightest in the range at the time. It also got a bump in power that resulted in a total of 562 horsepower at 8,000 RPM going to all four of the custom wheels. This enabled it to reach 62 mph from rest in 3.4 seconds and hit a top speed of 202 mph.
This black on black Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera tuned by RRahmani with custom wheels, however, has a bit more power up its sleeve. At the SCC500 Rolling50 1000 event, the driver decided to do a bit of drifting and burnouts between runs.
Since the super car is all wheel drive, doing donuts is harder than your average rear wheel drive sports car. Easing those custom wheels into a spin and sliding around takes a bit more work, but when it’s done properly, it is very exciting.
