Drifting with Man’s Best Friend.
It’s hard to think of a better passenger to have in your vehicle sitting beside you than Man’s Best Friend. That’s exactly what Chris K does with his Golden Retriever, Jett. Except they don’t go on your usual drives; they shred some rims and tires drifting!
Jett is easily one of the coolest dogs around town because she doesn’t just love regular car rides, but drifting also. The sounds of rims and tires screeching on the pavement doesn’t bother her in the least bit, and her owner is more than happy to have some fun on the empty pavement.
The car that Chris K drives with his furry friend isn’t exactly normal either. It’s a custom 1990 Toyota Cressida (MKII JZX81) that’s been outfitted with all sorts of safety and racing modifications. There’s a new suspension setup, new aerodynamics, custom rims and tires, a roll cage, and racing seats. The seat that Jett sits in is also customized to her with a special harness to keep her from sliding around.
Sitting with her back in the seat and butt on the cushion, Jett is ready to go. Chris K mashes the throttle and gets the rims and tires loose for some sideways action that Jett is more than happy to enjoy.
While most dogs (including Jett) like to stick their heads out of the windows and sniff inside of a moving car, this one likes a bit of white-knuckle drifting from time to time as well.
