Summer is over but that doesn’t mean that we can’t still enjoy a drop-top beauty like the Porsche 911 Cabriolet! The 991-generation’s first series gave the German sports car a clean, more modern look while still focusing on driving dynamics and technology. This open-air sports car is the perfect way to enjoy the final days of sunshine and good weather, especially on a new set of Niche Wheels.
The 991.1 Porsche 911 brought forth a whole lot of new technology and performance to back up its new design. The engine in the Carrera S models was a stout 3.8-liter naturally-aspirated flat-six engine producing 395 horsepower at 7,400 RPM and 325 lb-ft. of torque at 5,600 RPM for the rear Niche Wheels. That power is sent through a seven-speed PDK transmission with lightning-fast gear changes for optimum performance.
The power and thrilling sound that only the flat-six motor can make while sitting at the rear axle is part of what makes this Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet so special. Dropping that top and adding on a new set of Niche Wheels doesn’t hurt, either.
Not much has been done in the way of customization with this Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet save for the new set of Niche Wheels. Here, the owner opted to install new Niche Bavaria rims with their step lip rims and classic twin spoke design. Here, the new Niche Bavaria rims were given a smooth Brushed Face with High-Luster Polished windows and a Brushed Barrel for a custom looks that makes them stand out along the car’s body color.
The summer months might be over and done with, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t enjoy this Porsche 911 Carrera S Cabriolet riding on Niche Bavarias.
