If you want a car that’s going to get looks, provide quite a bit of comfort, and be able to put a smile on your face in the performance department, look no further than the Audi S5. The eight-cylinder, sexy two-door has everything you could ask for in a sporty luxury coupe and then some. And, it got even better thanks to Petrolwerks, who gave the German a new set of Niche wheels.
There’s not a single thing that makes the Audi S5 special, rather it’s a collection of different aspects that create an appealing luxury sports coupe, especially after a new set of Niche wheels.
Take the 4.2-liter V-8 engine for instance. The naturally-aspirated motor produces 349 horsepower at 7,000 RPM and 325 lb-ft. at 3,500 RPM. While that’s not earth-shattering, it has some rev-happy characteristics and a superb exhaust note. Couple that with Quattro driving all four Niche wheels, and you have a smile on your face from the driver’s seat.
The old saying is that “sex sells” and the curvaceous lines of the Audi S5 have helped give it that extra push on dealership lots. It’s curvy, two-door design with brushed aluminum and chrome highlights only seen on the S and RS models make it stand out from the pack.
That style is taken to the next level thanks to a new set of Niche wheels. Here, new Niche Turin rims were installed with a classic five double-spoked design sporting a slight concave to create the impression of power. All four of the Niche Turin rims were installed in a 20 x 10.5 setup with 275/30 R20 tires and feature a Brushed face with Gloss Black highlighting for a monochromatic look that matches the body of the S5.
While it’s not much in terms of upgrades, this Audi S5 with Niche Turin wheels makes quite the visual impact.
