Slippin’ and Slidin’!
When the leaves begin to fall and autumn rolls around, automotive enthusiasts up north understand that their driving time is slipping away. Once November and December hit, it’s time to put away the nice toys because the snow is coming. But that doesn’t always have to be the case, especially if you have a proper set of rims and tires.
Super cars are the most notable vehicles to disappear once the snow starts falling down. While many have all wheel drive, the salt, snow, dirt, and grime tend to scare owners away. But, a proper set of rims and tires made for the snow and ice can lead to a lot of fun.
So the group at DailyDrivenExotics decided have some fun up in snowy Saint-Eustache, Quebec at the Autodrome track with Luc Gosselin and his Audi R8. Armed with a Lamborghini Gallardo, the two cars with snow rims and tires set out to shred up the circuit.
The snow-covered asphalt isn’t something that you want to be on unless you have a ton of skill and there’s no traffic, but that didn’t stop this duo from having fun. The snow-spec rims and tires worked perfectly to dig through the fresh powder and send these bad boys sliding through the track in a controlled drift.
Of course, no trip to a snow-covered track would be complete without some serious donuts!
