MOPAR has been enhancing Dodge and Chrysler products for decades with their factory-backed, OEM quality parts. They range from styling to performance enhancements, and from custom wheels to engine modifications. Now, 50 special customers will be able to get a new MOPAR ’15 performance kit for their 2015 Dodge Charger R/T.
“Mopar has a long history of delivering to enthusiasts performance and customization in unique and convenient packages,” said Pietro Gorlier, President and CEO — Mopar Brand Service, Parts and Customer Care, FCA. “We are now shifting into another gear and offering a limited-edition kit that will allow customers to really enhance the performance and look of their Dodge Charger R/T.”
The new MOPAR ’15 upgrade package for the 2015 Dodge Charger R/T is limited to just 50 kits through authorized dealerships for $3,350 MSRP. The new kit follows five preceding special edition packaged offered by FCA since 2009 that add that special high performance touch from custom wheels to more power.
The new MOPAR ’15 performance kit is street legal and includes aspects such as the Scat Pack Performance Stage 1 kit. The Scat Pack Performance Stage 1 kit includes a new MOPAR Performance cat-back exhaust system, a cold air intake, high-flow oil filter, and Stage 1 premium fuel powertrain control module that adjusts some ECU mapping. Those upgrades result in an additional 18 horsepower and 18 lb-ft. of torque go to the rear custom wheels.
The kit also includes a new front strut tower brace and bright pedal kit. Scat Pack 1 badges are also proudly worn on the exterior. New matte black MOPAR ’15 graphics along each side complete the exterior styling. Customers also can throw on a new set of custom wheels to make the Charger R/T really pop.
Inside, upgrades include new door entry sill plates with MOPAR logos and MOPAR ’15 badge on the dashboard.
The new MOPAR ’15 Performance Package also comes standard with a certificate of authenticity, brochure, vintage replica Scat Pack poster, MOPAR Performance fender badge, MOPAR magnetic mechanic’s tray, and other accessories.
The entire kit also comes in a numbered MOPAR ’15 crate. Only 50 units of this package are available with deliveries starting in June.
