This looks like fun.
We’ve come to learn that if something has wheels, then you can bet someone is trying to race it. This goes for lawn mowers, bicycles, Barbie Jeeps, cars, trucks, tractors, and everything in between. There are also rally trucks, just like rally cars, and these bad boys aren’t afraid to get some air with their truck wheels!
These bigger, heavier, and arguably scarier vehicles are loaded with high-powered V-8s that drive the rear truck wheels with some serious muscle and fury. They’re stripped out and stocked up with all sorts of safety gear in case of a crash. They also have all sorts of upgrades to the suspension, truck wheels, and more to endure the crazy stresses of racing.
We’d like to get our hands on the wheel of one of these monsters, but our guess is that it’s way tougher to drive one of these fast than it is with a rally car – so count us out. They are, however, extremely fun to watch in the right hands, especially when they’re able to get their truck wheels in the air.
Not much is known about where this is, who is driving, and what kind of vehicle this is. We do, however, know that Kevin Apri took the video and for that, we thank him graciously. This truck can be heard roaring as it gets close to the hump and then launches itself into the air. The monster of a machine travels quite a considerable distance before landing its truck wheels in the dirt and speeding off like a true driver.
The clip isn’t that long, but it has all the goodness that we need to see.
