There’s a lot to like here.
For years, the Lexus IS model line has played second fiddle to the premium brands in Germany. Cars like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3-Series, and Audi A4 have always been looked at as being one step ahead of Lexus with there IS models. Things are getting closer these days, and this IS 350 with Niche Wheels shows that it might even be more exciting.
This second generation Lexus IS 350 packs quite a bit of tech and style with a pretty solid drivetrain. Under the hood is the 2GR-FSE 3.5-liter V-6 engine that sends 306 horsepower and 277 lb-ft. of torque through a six-speed automatic transmission to the rear Niche Wheels. That’s a healthy dose of fun and more than enough to put a smile on your face.
This Lexus IS 350, however also benefits from a few other goodies. This sport sedan benefits from a new front spoiler lip and rear spoiler that adds a more aggressive touch. The front fog lights were also given a yellow-tinted film cover while the rear taillights were replaced with newer LED units. Even the windows were tinted to give the IS 350 a harder edge along with the Niche Wheels.
In addition to the new body work and visual enhancements with the lights, the Lexus IS 350 was also outfitted with a new set of Niche Wheels to add a bit more excitement. The factory rims were replaced with new Niche Cannes – M181 wheels. These fat and sculpted five-spoke rims measure a hefty 20 inches in diameter at the front and rear. The Niche Cannes – M181s also benefit from a fresh Anthracite finish that perfectly complements the factory silver body color.
While the Germans may grab all the headlines in the segment, this Lexus IS 350 with Niche Cannes – M181 rims is stopping the show.
