Low and with a lot of go!
If you’re one of our many North American readers, then look away. We don’t want to tempt you further with a car that you cannot get because it’s not sold here and import laws. If you are bold enough, then take a look at this Volkswagen Scirocco R riding on a fresh set of Niche Wheels.
There’s a lot to like about the Volkswagen Scirocco R. First off, it has a smoother, sleeker shape than the Golf/GTI with some sumptuous curves. Second, it packs quite a punch – albeit in just front-wheel drive form. The Scirocco R version pumps out 261 horsepower at 6,000 RPM and 258 lb-ft. of torque at 2,500 RPM to the front Niche Wheels from its 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine.
That’s more than enough for some fun, especially with a chassis that’s been tuned and lowered for better handling. As an added bonus, the owner of this Scirocco R has also dropped the ride height and neatly tucked the new Niche Wheels beneath the fenders for that clean, slammed look.
On this orange hatchback, a new set of Niche Staccato – M183 rims were installed. These 20-inch shoes have a complex spoke design and a concave depth that perfectly complements the curvy bodywork of the Scirocco R. Here, the new Niche Wheels wear a slick Matte Black finish that gives a distinct contrast to the body and draws attention.
