Get some Flat-Six style with this 911 GT3 RS on BBS Wheels

no-1

The howling monster.

The Porsche 911 GT3 RS is the benchmark for road-legal, track-spec super cars. It’s designed to go around the track as fast as possible and be as close to its race-spec counterparts as legally possible. This Ultraviolet 911 GT3 RS in Miami is sporting a set of BBS Wheels that just adds to the overall performance package of the super car.

Everything inside and out of the Porsche 911 GT3 RS has been tuned and tailored for performance. Hardcore aerodynamics generate massive amounts of downforce that force the body onto the BBS Wheels and the high-performance tires. Inside the widebody super car is a roll cage, door pulls, fire extinguisher, and a sea of alcantara.

But in the rear of the 911 GT3 RS sits a potent 4.0-liter flat-six engine. The naturally-aspirated, high-revving motor sends 500 horsepower at 8,250 RPM and 339 lb-ft. of torque to the rear BBS Wheels. That’s good enough to send the super car to 60 mph from rest in just 3.1 seconds and to a top speed of 193 mph.

On this Ultraviolet Porsche 911 GT3 RS, a new set of BBS Wheels were installed and look right at home. The track-oriented super car wears BBS FI-R wheels. These lightweight wheels were fitted in a staggered 20 x 9.5 ET50 front and 21 x 12.5 ET48 rear setup to serve up loads of grip through tight corners on the track.

It’s hard to make the Porsche 911 GT3 RS better than it already is in stock form but these BBS FI-R rims certainly do.
