Having some fun with a new appearance package.
The big thing lately in the automotive world seems to be new upgrade packages that can be added on at the dealership for a small fee on top of a vehicle’s MSRP. General Motors made it quite popular and Fiat-Chrysler have followed. Now, Nissan is getting into the game with their new 2016 Maxima SR Midnight Edition with new car rims, body work, and more.
“Customer response to our limited production Maxima ‘Midnight’ accessories package last summer was so strong, we’ve now made it a factory installed option – and we’re launching it at a $1,000 discount versus what it would cost to order and install the features individually,” said Dan Mohnke, vice president, Nissan Chief Marketing Manager & Marketing Operations. “This special edition combines a more aggressive look with an affordable price, taking the popular SR grade level to an even higher level as enthusiasts’ favorite Maxima.”
The new Nissan Maxima SR Midnight Edition package will have an array of upgrades from car rims to new body work and interior goodies that add up to $2,195 total. However, the package is discounted by $1,000, for a total of just $1,195 for the upgrades.
The new 2016 Nissan Maxima SR Midnight Edition includes a new black rear sport spoiler and a black rear bumper diffuser to add a more aggressive aesthetic to the sports sedan. A new set of 19-inch black car rims match the new body work and contrast the array of available paint colors, save for the Super Black.
Inside, the new 2016 Nissan Maxima SR Midnight Edition features a Charcoal premium leather upholstery with new Alcantara seat inserts for a high-end look and feel.
The new Midnight Edition package will be available on the 2016 Maxima SR sedans only. The new black car rims will provide nice aesthetic when paired with the five available colors including Super Black, Pearl White, Brilliant Silver, Coulis Red, and Deep Blue Pearl.
The Midnight Edition package will be priced at $1,195 on top of the $37,770 starting MSRP of the Nissan Maxima SR, and arrive at dealerships soon.
