The second-phase of the 997-generation Porsche 911 brought the German sports car into the modern age just before the completely-new 991-gen model was unveiled. It still had naturally-aspirated flat-six power, athleticism, and style. This 911 Carrera 4S has all that an then some from new bodywork to new Rotiform wheels, and it makes quite a show.
The 997.2 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S had a fresh, new look and the classic body-length red strip at the rear fascia to emphasize the widebody even more. In factory form, the 3.8-liter, naturally-aspirated flat-six engine spits out 380 bhp at 6,500 RPM through a choice of seven-speed PDK dual-clutch or manual gearbox to all four Rotiform wheels. This allows the sports car to reach 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds and hit a top speed of 185 mph.
That kind of performance is pretty impressive. Thankfully, there’s always looks to match the car’s athleticism and this bad boy has even more exciting aesthetics. Instead of the factory front fascia, there’s a new bumper and spoiler from the more hardcore 911 GT3 model. There’s also a full lowering kit that puts the Rotiform wheels right beneath the fenders, and emphasizes the widebody look of the Carrera 4S.
This fitment stars a new set of Rotiform KLU rims. These five-spoke rims feature a rounded spoke shape and a multi-piece construction with a step lip. Here, the Rotiform wheels measure a staggered 20 x 9.0 up front and a wider 20 x 12.0 at the rear. Each one of the Rotiform KLU rims also boast a Matte Anthracite profile finish and Polished lips that contrast the vibrant Red exterior paint.
The 997.2 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S may not be the latest and greatest from the German sports car manufacturer, but it can easily still turn heads with its new look and Rotiform KLU wheels.
