Celebrating 75 years the Jeep way.
Seventy-five years is a long time for any automaker to be around building vehicles. The Jeep brand has been going for that long and its future looks bright thanks to the wide array of vehicles and driver’s need for all terrain enjoyment. To celebrate, the brand is doing what it does best and launching new 75th Anniversary models with special accessories such as off road wheels and tires, colors, and equipment.
“Jeep vehicles have defined the authentic SUV and set the benchmark for off-road capability and freedom since they were first produced in 1941,” said Mike Manley, Head of Jeep Brand – FCA Global. “Today, Jeep SUVs continue to deliver 4×4 leadership, as well as fuel efficiency, world-class craftsmanship and premium on-road dynamics.
“In honor of the brand’s 75th anniversary, we have created eye-catching, special-edition models of each vehicle in our lineup that celebrate the unparalleled history of the legendary Jeep brand,” Manley added.
From the off road wheels and tires on up, the new 2016 Jeep Renegade 75th Anniversary Edition model will be special, starting with its array of available colors such as Jungle Green, Alpine White, Black, Omaha Orange, Mojave Sand, Glacier Metallic, Granite Crystal and Anvil.
A variety of Low Gloss Bronze features will add some contrast to the range of new paint colors, starting with the 18-inch off road wheels and tires. The exterior also features Low Gloss Bronze grille surrounds, fog lamp bezels, a roof rack, rear taillight application, rear fascia, and badging to provide some contrast.
Inside, the Jeep Renegade 75th Anniversary Edition models will give drivers and occupants a more open and entertaining feel. A Beats audio system and the MySky open-air roof system come standard on the special edition model.
The Jeep Renegade 75th Anniversary Edition model will come with either the 1.4- or 2.4-liter engines driving the new off road wheels and tires. Pricing will start at an MSRP of $25,375 plus $995 destination charge.
