Through the mud, water, and dirt!
It’s not common to see a super car or exotic participating in a rally race. Those types of cars just aren’t built for the tough, gritty, high-speed rally racing that other cars can handle better. This Lamborghini Gallardo, however, isn’t afraid to get its aftermarket wheels dirty.
In factory form, the Lamborghini Gallardo is built for high performance driving on the road – not off the road. The low ride height, sport tuned suspension, aerodynamics, and body work is not able to handle the dramatic terrain changes, grip requirements, and harshness of off road driving, let alone rally racing. Even throwing some aftermarket wheels and all terrain tires on one wouldn’t do the trick.
This Lamborghini Gallardo has been modified to the gills with all sorts of upgrades designed to make it easier to drive over a variety of terrains from asphalt to mud, water, and more. New aerodynamics, a completely new lifted suspension, aftermarket wheels and treaded tires, racing safety equipment, and much more has been installed to allow this bad boy to compete in the tough rally races.
After all the upgrades, the V-10-powered Lamborghini Gallardo is quite the fun super car to see compete and drive through the different obstacles, turns, and elevation changes on this rally course. Not only does it speed through the wet asphalt, but it also gets its aftermarket wheels and tries wet in puddles, mud, and gravel!
More super cars need to be turned into rally racers if you ask us.
