The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is the go anywhere, do anything vehicle for off road enthusiasts and those that want a little more fun in their life. The SUVs are some of the most capable on the planet and come packed with all of the goodies you’ll ever need to go across tough terrain. While they come with a list of standard features that make it so durable, sometimes a new set of wheels and tweaked suspension can complete the overall character of the SUV. This Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with Fuel wheels and lift kit is just right with its off road style.
In recent years, the Jeep Wrangler has been given some tweaks, nips, and tucks to make it more powerful and efficient, and improve its overall performance both on and off the road. A new Pentastar 3.6-liter V-6 engine now turns all four wheels with its 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft. of torque output, with an even better 17 mpg city and 21 mph highway, estimated. That means more capability with better fuel economy than the less powerful 3.8-liter V-6 engines.
This red 2014 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was the perfect candidate for a new set of Fuel wheels. The entire chassis of the SUV benefits from a new three-inch Zone Lift setup that helps it to overcome larger obstacles with ease. The suspension lift also prevents any obstacles from tearing at the underbody of the Wrangler during off road driving.
The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon was outfitted with four two-piece Hostage II – D232 rims from Fuel wheels. An extra rim and tire was added to the back as a spare, in case a puncture were to occur. Each of the two-piece wheels was finished in a sharp bronze color and measures 22 x 10.0 to ensure a large footprint. All five of the wheels were also given beefy 325/50 R22 tries to maximize traction through the dirt, mud, sand, water, gravel, and whatever else may come in its path.
This Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with Fuel wheels just goes to show that a few simple things can make for a perfect SUV.
