“S” stands for “Stance”.

The flagship for Chrysler’s “Imported from Detroit” marketing campaign is clearly the 300 model. Its luxury and sport with modern design makes it a consumer favorite. For the 2014 model year, the American automaker has updated a number of aspects of their luxury sedan such as new color options, interior options, and even updated Chrysler 300 wheels for the ultimate styling statement. The updated model is even available with new “blacked out” options and Beats by Dr. Dre audio system.

“Chrysler brand’s S-models continue to be among the most sought after lineup of vehicles with their modern and athletic style – and for 2014, the new Chrysler 300S redefines ‘S’ for ‘Stance,’ with an even more imposing presence,” said Al Gardner, President and CEO — Chrysler Brand, Chrysler Group LLC. “Adding to its legacy, including being crowned ‘Best Chrysler in Decades’ by a leading automotive consumer group, this new generation 300S is where world-class tailoring meets world-class quality, materials and technology. In addition to its standard, and almost iPad size, touchscreen display, Beats by Dre sound, available AWD, 20-inch black pocket wheels and Piano Black trims, the new Chrysler 300S now comes with exquisitely tailored dark blue leather seats. We call it Ambassador Blue. It’s one more way to suit up our ‘Imported from Detroit’ Stance.”

The exterior of the Chrysler 300S in rear- and all-wheel drive form makes more of a statement for 2014. The model boasts a “blacked out” look that starts with the new body-colored door handles and fascia inserts up front. Gloss black elements such as door molding, daylight opening surrounds, taillight bezels and headlight bezels give the luxury sedan a meaner, more aggressive look with their black coloring. The finishing touch for the black elements is a black chrome grille with horizontal blades and liquid chrome Chrysler wing blades with black logo at the center. New 20-inch or 19-inch (for AWD models) Chrysler 300 wheels also wear a dark Hyper Black finish. These black Chrysler 300 wheels can complement to contrast the exterior color palette that now includes a new “straight shade” Dark Ceramic Grey clear coat paint and optional gloss black painted roof.

A number of exciting updates are also found on the interior. The entire cabin can be decorated with standard black or all new Ambassador Blue Nappa leather with contrasting silver stitching. Piano black trim pieces are used throughout to create a classy, high-end feel and are contrasted by the die-cast steering-wheel mounted paddle shifters. For the first time in the segment, customers can opt for the Beats by Dr. Dre audio system with 10-speakers and 12-channel amplifiers. The Chrysler sound engineers teamed up with Beats founders, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine to create the best sound quality.

Two optional engines and drivetrains will propel the Chrysler 300 wheels down the boulevard. The efficient 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 features a new cold-air induction system and sport-tuned exhaust to create 300 horsepower and 264 lb-ft. of torque, and are paired up with rear- or all-wheel drive using the efficient ZF eight-speed automatic transmission. The 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 engine is also paired up with the eight-speed gearbox and features a new performance-tuned suspension and performance disc brake system on variants that drive only the rear Chrysler 300 wheels.

The new 2014 Chrysler 300S will be available in the spring of 2014.
