The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class has been out for quite some time and has seen a considerable amount of competition from other automakers. However, it still reins king in the four-door coupe market and the CLS 63 AMG S Model is the crème de la crème of the model range, especially when it’s wearing a set of staggered wheels.
The formula for the high-performance car is relatively simple: add in a twin-turbocharged 5.5-liter V-8 engine, optimize the suspension, tack on more aggressive aerodynamics, and spruce up the interior. That monstrous 5.5-liter engine however isn’t easy to handle for just any kind of staggered wheels either. The job of accommodating all 577 horsepower at 5,500 RPM and 590 lb-ft. of torque from 1,750 to 5,000 RPM can be quite the task.
However, this stunning silver Mercedes-Benz CLS 63 AMG was given quite the set of staggered wheels from Niche. The factory setup was replaced with a new set of Niche Invert – M162 rims that feature a unique turbine-style design with its ten spokes. This creates the impression of speed and power –something that the German four-door coupe is not short on at all.
The new set of staggered wheels also features a slight concave that is especially apparent at the rear, giving the fitment more depth and alluding to the rear-wheel drive layout. Up front, the new Niche Invert – M162 rims were fitted in a 20 x 8.5 size while the rear comes in with a wider 20 x 10.5 setup. Each wheel was also given a Silver and Machined finish to match the factory silver paint.
Power isn’t an easy thing to control, but the new Niche Invert – M162 wheels do quite a commendable job.
