At the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Chevrolet will be celebrating their 50-year partnership with Hot Wheels by unveiling their new 2018 Camaro Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition model. The new muscle car blends performance and design with a fun and exciting character through new styling, features, and tires and wheels.
“The Chevrolet Performance design studio is full of designers who were inspired by Hot Wheels,” said Tom Peters, director of Exterior Design for Chevrolet Performance Cars. “The Camaro Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition captures that passion, turning childhood fantasy into reality.”
The new 2018 Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary edition model is available on 2LT and 2SS trims in Coupe and Convertible form. A special Crush exterior color and striping across the length of the muscle car pays homage to the orange tracks that Hot Wheels are known for. A new set of tires and rims measure 20 inches and are comprised of forged aluminum alloy to keep weight to a minimum. These tires and rims also feature a special Satin Graphite finish with milled faces to match the new striping and aerodynamics.
The new Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition model wears 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels fender badges and a Black taillamp with the Hot Wheels logo. Black Chevrolet bowtie logos are worn at the front and rear with the former sitting inside a special grille with Galvano Chrome inserts. Sitting between the new tires and rims are Satin Graphite side skirts. Orange brake calipers are also featured.

Inside, the Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition models boast a Jet Black leather interior with orange inserts, stitching, door panel knee pads, and safety belts. New 50th Anniversary Hot Wheels logos can be found on the steering wheel, embossed headrests, and illuminated door sill panels. Below, carpeted floor mats with orange stitching and ghost stripes ties it all together.
The new Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels 50th Anniversary Edition will be available in the first quarter of 2018 as a $4,995 package. The new model with its vibrant exterior, lightweight tires and rims, and unique interior will be on display alongside 20 other Chevrolet models at the 2017 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.
