Not bad.
It’s not often that you see a Chevrolet Traverse that makes you look twice, but this blacked out SUV with DUB Wheels will certainly generate some interest. Usually regarded as a family SUV and for not flashing the most style on the road, the Chevrolet Traverse is often passed over by car enthusiasts. Not this one.
The Chevrolet Traverse isn’t a terrible vehicle by any means. It has more than enough room for passengers and a decent powertrain under the hood. You can even get 288 horsepower and 270 lb-ft. of torque driving all four DUB wheels with the 3.6-liter V-6 and its six-speed automatic transmission. That’s more than enough to inject some kind of fun into daily driving duties.
But, the SUV has often been regarded as bland and relatively boring compared to its competition. This Chevrolet Traverse takes things up a notch starting with its new DUB Wheels. Here, the DUB Directa – S133 rims were installed in a large 24-inch diameter that instantly adds to the SUV’s presence. A special Black and Milled finish was applied to each DUB Directa – S133 rim with the edging receiving the milled look to match the chrome accents on the SUV’s body.
But the upgrades didn’t stop with the DUB Wheels. In addition, the front bowtie was given a dark finish and red outline. At the rear, the exhaust outlets were converted to a centrally-mounted unit for a cleaner look. Even the brake calipers were painted red to add a more athletic style to the SUV.
Our guess is that people still won’t be out modifying and upgrading their Chevrolet Traverses, but this one with DUB Directa – S133 wheels doesn’t look too bad.
