Putting down the fun with the V-8.
Lexus vehicles haven’t really been known for their performance characteristics. In fact, it’s one of the reasons why the German competition has had a leg up on them for some time. But, the IS F brings forth the power and speed and this bad boy is sporting a new set of Niche Wheels.
Instead of the V-6 engines that have been traditionally offered in the IS model line, Lexus stepped their game up and stuffed a 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V-8 engine under the hood. This equates to a whopping 416 horsepower and 371 lb-ft. of torque going to the rear Niche Wheels, for some tire shredding performance.
And while the upgraded V-8 engine is the star of the show, the suspension, brakes, and lots more were upgraded right from the factory. Even custom wheels specific to the IS F model were featured in an effort to improve overall performance. This Silver Lexus IS F with Niche Wheels, however, gets even better.
Here, this Lexus IS F was outfitted with a set of custom wheels. The Niche Invert – M163s were the weapon of choice for this Japanese sports sedan and the new setup reflects the athletic character. Each one of the Niche Wheels features a Black and Machined finish with a Dark Tint to provide contrast to the Silver body work.
The new setup features the new Niche Invert – M163 wheels in a 20 x 9.0 front and 20 x 10.5 rear setup. Sticky Pirelli PZero Nero tires measuring 235/35/20 and 255/35/20 provide plenty of grip while a new set of H&R lowering springs reduces the center of gravity for even better handling and a better look.
Not only does this Lexus IS F bring the A-game to the performance segment, but it also can throw down the hammer in terms of style as well with its custom wheels.
