Rob MacCachren has over 200 off road race wins under his belt and an impressive four Baja 1000 victories. Over the span of four decades, he’s raced all kinds of vehicles the latest involves putting some serious thunder into truck wheels as they speed across harsh terrain.
This time around, he’s “just” racing a bit for BFGoodrich. We say “just” because it involves him putting the pedal to the metal and jumping, drifting, and pounding his truck wheels over some serious terrain.
The all-pro racer was right at home in the Baja countryside of California where the sandy dirty can slow many vehicles down – but not MacCachren’s trophy truck! This monster of a vehicle packs a viscous V-8 engine driving some off road racing spec truck wheels and beefy tires. It’s a tool for a good time, and MacCachren showed us just how a pro uses one to its full advantage.
