The Jeep Wrangler has been the hallmark of the American automotive brand for decades. Its capability and off road performance have made it a go to choice for many that are looking to tackle tough trails and terrain. The Jeep CJ7 generation Wrangler is no different but this model decided to head in a bit of a different direction with a new set of Fuel Wheels.
While off road performance and capability is still packed into every crevice of this Jeep Wrangler, it is aimed more for style. The beefy engine can still churn all four Fuel Wheels with ease and make it up any hill or obstacle, but this bad boy is built to show and make a statement.
The factory set of rims and tires were swapped out for a brand new set of Fuel Wheels. The chosen models were the Fuel Assault – D5406 rims with their more complex design and finish. The eight-spoke rims wear a dark black finish with milled highlights outlining each spoke along with the bolts around the outer rim. The finish complements the green and black paint scheme of the CJ7 Jeep Wrangler perfectly while drawing attention to the wheels.
The CJ7 Jeep Wrangler was outfitted with the new Assault – D546 rims in a large 20 x 10.0 setup at the front and rear axles that gives the SUV a substantial stance. The Fuel Wheels were also equipped with lower profile 35/12.5 R20 off road tires that can perform both on or off the road.
The new fitment did not require any modifications to the factory suspension in terms of height, but we’re going to bet that there’s plans for it in the future with this build!
