The Acura TL might not have the flash and dazzle as other sedans but it has a high-tech, modern look backed by some serious reliability. Throw in the Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system and a manual gearbox, and you’ve got a car that has quite a bit of fun to it. This TL is even better thanks to a lowered suspension and new set of TSW Wheels.
There’s a lot to like about this Acura TL. A 3.7-liter V-6 engine produces 305 horsepower and 275 lb-ft. of torque. That’s sent through the rare six-speed manual transmission to all four TSW Wheels thanks to the innovative SH-AWD (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) system.
On this white Acura TL SH-AWD model, the owner swapped out the factory rim and tire setup for a new set of TSW Wheels. At the front and rear, new TSW Nurburgring rims were installed in a 19 x 9.5 setup with a polished finish and a 41-offset. New 265/35/19 Continental ExtremeContact DW tires help to provide added grip on the asphalt for those spirited drives.
The square setup of the TSW Wheels looks even more impressive on this Acura TL thanks to the lowered suspension. The weapon of choice here is the Tein Super Street coilover kit with EDFC that reduces the ride height and can be adjusted by the driver.
While it may not look like a serious sports sedan, this Acura TL is undoubtedly an under-the-radar driver’s car.
