The muscle car for off roading!
When we talk about Jeep Wranglers, the main focus is on their suspensions, body work, and sometimes a few minor engine modifications to bump power up a bit. However, this 2011 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is a bit different. Instead of the six-cylinder engine under the hood, there’s a 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engine that’s powering all four ATX Wheels!
This conversion is a thing of beauty if you enjoy power and a gnarly exhaust note. The factory engine was swapped out and a monster 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 – the same found in the Charger and Challenger muscle cars – was installed. Of course, this meant that a lot of modifications had to be made inside and out of the engine bay, but the result is amazing. A total of 470 horsepower and 470 lb-ft. of torque drives all four ATX Wheels to create one thrilling drive on- or off the road!
While the mean V-8 under the hood is the clear star of the show, this Wrangler Rubicon has all sorts of goodies in other places as well. A new Hanson off road front bumper with winch and LED lights is built to get out of any situation and blaze a trail ahead. A large LED light bar atop the windshield makes trail driving at night a breeze.
Below the beltline, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon saw a great deal of upgrades from the ATX Wheels to the suspension. Of course, the drivetrain had to be beefed up to accommodate for the new HEMI V-8 engine. A full 4.5-inch AEV Lift Kit with King Off-Road Shocks allows it to go above and beyond your average Jeep while off road.
Putting all of that power to the ground is a new set of ATX Wheels and BFGoodrich tires. New ATX Cornice rims with their five-spoke design were installed in a commanding setup with yellow center caps and wear massive 37-inch BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires for all sorts of off road fun.
With this custom HEMI Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, the wildlife will scatter after hearing the roar of the SUV’s V-8.
